Μητέρα που έχασε το παιδί της συγκλονίζει: «Πόσο θα ήθελα να είχα να πλύνω άλλο ένα πιάτο του»

Η Anna Davis ζει στο Wynyard της Τασμανίας και πριν από έναν χρόνο έχασε τον 3 ετών γιο της Alby με τον πιο ξαφνικό και αδιανόητο τρόπο. Ο Alby έχασε τη ζωή του όταν έβαλε στο στόμα του μια μπίλια η οποία κόλλησε στον λαιμό του. Μέσα στην αγκαλιά της μητέρας του που δεν μπόρεσε να τον βοηθήσει, ξεψύχησε.

Η Anna δυσκολεύεται -όπως είναι λογικό- να διαχειριστεί την απώλεια του γιου της. Μητέρα 3 ακόμη παιδιών -αφού μετά τον θάνατο του Alby έγινε μητέρα ξανά-, προσπαθεί να συνηθίσει τη νέα πραγματικότητα για χάρη των παιδιών της. Ανεβάζοντας στον προσωπικό της λογαριασμό στο Instagram φωτογραφίες των παιδιών της και τις σκέψεις της, ραγίζει καρδιές αλλά κυρίως προβληματίζει.

«Στο παρελθόν θυμάμαι τα συναισθήματα απογοήτευσης που περιβάλλουν τις συνεχείς, ατελείωτες δουλειές που συμβαδίζουν με την οικογενειακή ζωή. Τα ατελείωτα άπλυτα πιάτα, τα ακατάστατα πατώματα, τα πεινασμένα στόματα. Πόσο θα ήθελα να γύριζα τον χρόνο πίσω και να είχα να πλύνω άλλο ένα πιάτο του. Όλα είναι σχετικά, ανάλογα με την οπτική γωνία της κάθε μαμάς», γράφει η Anna, αναρτώντας μια φωτογραφία των παιδιών της με τον αδικοχαμένο Alby.

In the past, I remember feelings of frustration surrounding the constant, unending chores that go hand in hand with family life. The bottomless washing pile, the ‘messy’ floors, the constant dishes, the ever-hungry mouths… But now? What I wouldn’t give to be hanging size 4’s on the line, to be tripping over block creations in the hallway, to have one more cup to wash up after dinner time… it’s all about perspective mamas. Never forget there are those craving your daily reality. As wearisome and unrelenting as it is, shifting your mindset to one of gratitude may make that monotony just a tad bit sweeter. Poor Sage was rather devastated after missing out on seeing her absolute *favourite* @vancejoy, perform at Triple J’s One Night Stand concert in St. Helens this weekend. We made the three and a half hour drive to the East Coast, and unfortunately, the venue reached its 25,000 people capacity (an unprecedented amount, with thousands more waiting to get in ahead of us) prior to our arrival ?
